2008 New England Summer Nationals / Worcester, Massachusetts
We did make it out to the Summer Nationals a second time. As you can see, I did bring the camera out. I got a ton of pictures which are now posted on my Flickr account.
This is Sarah getting a chance to sit in her favorite car at the show. Sarah LOVES Chevy Bel Airs. This one was a race car on top of being a Bel Air. It was also a very beautiful car.
The owner was kind enough to let her sit in it. He reminisced about being young, going to car shows and dreaming of owning his own cars. He had fun sharing that experience with Sarah. While she enjoyed trying out the driver seat, he told us that this was his "dream car" that was 23 years in the waiting. His father and grandfather both build cars and now he's joined the team. They call themselves "Twin Sin Racing".
It looks like he's off to a great start. The whole family was there so we got to check out their other work as well. All of it is excellent. 
Here's another of the "Twin Sin" vehicles. It's one of the meanest looking trucks I've seen (or heard). It was completely awesome!
